Ortipertutti is multi-stakeholder international architectural design competition that aims to improve access to resources and space for urban agriculture while creating a new generation of vegetable gardeners. Applicants were asked to design small to medium vegetable gardens, or solutions to upgrade existing gardens, to promote production and foster social inclusion in specific areas in Bologna. Through the competition, the municipality raised public awareness about organic and local food production and evidenced a commitment to urban agriculture and the value of access to inclusive production space.
