The „Gärtnerhof Charlottenburg“ runs a successful organic farm in a former greenery on the palace gardens employing people with disabilities. The organic farms „Bauerngärten“ are three self-harvesting gardens for Berliners. „Speisegut“ was the first community supported agricultural project in Berlin.

The intercultural generations garden was founded for residents on the site of the »Gartenarbeitsschule Wedding«. The »Himmelbeet« is an intercultural community garden in Berlin-Wedding.
