Since 1997, GRÜNE LIGA Berlin has been hosting its popular sustainable Christmas market on Kollwitzplatz on the Sundays during Advent. Experience around 60 exhibitors offering organic delicacies, regional handicrafts, environmentally friendly textiles and creative gift ideas for ‘fair gifting’. The Advent eco-market stands for slow, fair and conscious shopping as an alternative to the usual Christmas hustle and bustle in Berlin.
Organic delicacies, sustainable products & hands-on activities
Discover a variety of sweet and savoury snacks, hot and cold organic drinks and information stands run by non-profit organisations. The market offers creative hands-on activities and crafts for adults and children. Sustainability meets commitment: from upcycling and insect protection to environmental journalism – there is something for young and old alike.
Programme: Advent Sundays with theme days
1st Advent (30 Nov.): Reusable Day with the Bottleneck Project – creative upcycling of glass bottles.
2nd Advent (7 Dec.): Summ sala blüh! Oh Christmas tree with local biodiversity.

As usual, the weekly eco-market of GRÜNE LIGA Berlin takes place every Thursday from 12 noon to 7 p.m. at Kollwitzplatz.
